FHIR Based Hospital Management Platform

Neosys Medicare is an interoperable Hospital Management Platform. It has various entities handling various stakeholders requirements, such as Payers, Providers, Pharmacy, Laboratory and Hospital Admin teams.

Our Approach
  • Discovery + Workflow Mapping: We conducted stakeholder interviews across departments, from clinicians and admin staff to IT heads, to map out the real-world friction in their workflows.Using service blueprints, we aligned on:
    • Patient journey touchpoints
    • Admin bottlenecks
    • Data flow across systems (FHIR-compliant resources: Patient, Encounter, Observation, etc.)
  • UX Design & Prototyping: Our design team translated the workflow mapping into a sleek, modular interface:
    • Role-based dashboards (Doctor, Nurse, Admin, Lab Tech)
    • Quick access to patient summaries, vitals, lab orders, and e-prescriptions
    • Real-time appointment scheduling and queue management
    • Every screen was usability-tested with actual staff using clickable Figma prototypes.
  • FHIR-Ready Architecture: We collaborated with their engineering team to shape a FHIR-compliant backend:
    • Smart resource modeling (Patient, Appointment, Condition, MedicationRequest)
    • HL7/FHIR APIs for external integration
    • Structured audit trails for regulatory compliance
    • Built with scalability, privacy, and EHR plug-and-play in mind
